I recently ordered from thehorsebitshop.co.uk because I needed a 2 particular bits for a double bridle... quickly.

There is no sign of them so I tried ringing - no response. I've just emailed in desperation and then goggled them and what did I find but a link to a thread on the H&H forum with loads of people having had the same problem. A couple of people were talking of reporting them to trading standards. Has anyone done this and has anyone had any success in actually getting their bits?

I'm so frustrated, I had a ridden show class in 3 days and no bits!
 
I have just discovered they have charged my credit card with items that I cancelled and never received because they were taking so long.

Going through dispute procedure with cc at the mo.

Not happy.

Don't get me stared!!, i have had some probs with them twice now, so won't be using them again, although i do have to say there are a couple of people who have used them on here and not had a prob, but the more i hear the worse they get!!
 
I ordered from them - sent wrong size bit and rung and rung and never sent the right size - sent it back and they took the money for it....and now can't get through to them.

Good luck. Trading standards may be a good idea!
 
I have also experienced prob with thehorsebitshop, same thing order not recieved, then phoned and couldn't leave a message, tried e-mail nothing then final got through on phone and bit arrived next day however sending it back as it's not right for my youngster, though if they are going to change me anyway i may as well keep it!!!!
 
I've been trying to get through to them for a while - the phone is always on the answer machine and you can't leave a message. They don't reply to emails either. Sounds as if something has gone badly wrong. Don't think I'll be trying again.
 
Terrible place... I ordered a bit which came fairly promptly but turned out to be unsuitable. Got in touch via email to inform them and they passed on instructions as to how to return the item. I did that and since then (months now) I haven't been reimbursed and any attempts to contact them again have been unsuccessful.
Thankfully my credit card company have taken up the case now and I'm no worse off.

Shame really as they have a great choice of products...
