Is it a fun showing class? If so, I have seen people do it as a Thelwell fancy dress ie freckles on child, L plate tied on with bailing twine, old hacking jacket, and of course pigtails.

However if it's a more serious show, that might be OTT!

Thinking of doing a Thelwell Pony class this Sunday, daughter is on LR...do you think I'd have to wear the proper outfit or just smart? First ever show and feel totally clueless, lol.

Black/navy show jacket and shirt, tie etc...or hacking jacket. have a look online at the cartoons.

Please do not wear a navy or black jacket.
This class is generaly for hairy, fluffy cute little ponies who should be shown in tweed jackets.

You could wear a waist coat if you like- it's a fun class so anything goes! Navy would be just fine, but so would XC jumper. I used to have wire in my plaits to make them stand up and L plates on my back ;)
