So, how about you all log off and find something else to do (or somewhere else to post if you have no life outside of the internet, which blatently some of you don't) and let them fix it?

Some posts don't show up at times so when people first log on they're bound to post to ask if anyone else is having problems.

But then I have no life, so I'll stay

Bye bye Munchkin. Little more tolerance maybe? Some people don't have the levels of IT literacy that others have so when things go awry on the Forum they wonder if it's just them/their machine or a more general problem. And some people rely heavily on the Forum for general information and advice and wise words born of experience so to suddenly be unable to access the Forum when you were hoping for help with a specific horsey problem can be frustrating. I don't think it's because people don't have a life - as horse owners we know that can't be true.

I repeat... 17 threads!

Most of which were people panicking about who could see their PM's as they'd been bitching about other members.

And surely if the advice required is so urgent it cannot wait for the forum to be fixed, a professional (e.g. vet) might be more appropriate..?

(Kudos to whoever bothered to fix the DB at this time of night, by the way!)

Actually it wasn't really the content of PM's that some people were worried about, more the rest of the personal info that could be seen by anyone! It made available enough data to cause someone problems is another decided to use it....

I'd like to think everyone on here was trustworthy, but in this world we all know thats a long shot so we're right to be concerned.

I'm sorry, I'm not so computer literate.

I thought 'logging off' meant just that.......
