You hear so much about bad or unhelpful people these days but the farmer I rent from is just so nice I wanted to tell someone.
I phoned him this afternoon to ask if I could have a bale of hay. He told me to help myself and that any bales that were broken (string off) in the barn I could have for free!!!! He also told me he had put his battery on my fence and taken mine to recharge it ( I had asked to borrow his battery.) Last week I phoned him because a strange man was lurking by the yard and he was there within minutes and has done extra checks since. He has found out who it was and hopefully we shouldn't have any further problems. He really is a sweetie!
