On a thread last week I mentioned my Mollie. Someone asked what my problems with her are, and I refered them to my original post about my nervous mare and my own creakiness.

I'm not saying who it was, as she might be embarrassed, but she recommended a book, The 100% Horse by Michael Peace which could be useful. She then asked for my name and address to lend me her copy.

The book duly arrived a few days later. It's fab, I'm really enjoying reading it and yes, I think it will be a help to me and Molls.

My OH asked had I bought it on Amazon, and I said no, a complete stranger sent it to me out of kindness. He was gobsmacked.

Thank you. There really are some fab people here.

Wonderful - a lot of people moan aobut this forum saying people are nasty but I have only ever recieved wonderful open advice from very knowldegeable people - I also think its kind when experienced strangers are so willing to share their lifelong experiences and knowledge to help other people and horses

There are times when this forum has really pulled together for other people - when Tankey's OH was very ill for instance. Yes it has it's bitchy moments but then if you put a large amount of women in the same place (either online or in real life) then you are going to have bitchiness!

Ditto this too. I've had nothing but positive and wonderful feedback on here re my problems. Some of the threads are great for debates but if you read all posts you can learn far more and understand other peoples views. I find when it has come to the crunch these guys on here are for anyone. They are friends that you never meet so to speak

I agree. Returning to horsiness after a huge gap, I've found this forum invaluable to help me to bring myself up to date and dealing with my problems as a new horse owner.

I enjoy the debates too!
