omg i know!..we had a right old b!tch who used to do that, she got me off many times unexpectadly, but the very last time, i managed to stay on, and boy did she not do it ever again!!!

I think this has been posted before and , if I remember correctly, it had something to do with riding the horse in a wedding dress.
 
I've seen this one before and I have to say it's a stupid method of getting a horse used to plastic. Good on her for staying on but why panic the horse in the first place? Better to introduce the plastic gradually and avoid bad experiences.

Yes, she did seem to be doing well in the longer version. I didn't watch the entire video (the longer one) but noticed she held the plastic in various ways which is why I assumed it was a training excersise.
 
I may be wrong but i actually think it may be rather easy to sit on that as the horse isnt actually bucking or rearing straight up, he is just kind of bouncing infront so keeps catching the rider!
However i wouldnt like to try it out as i probably would be proved very wrong!!

Yes, I have seen this before and actually there is footage somewhere of her doing this before with the horse actually taking the plastic fine and I think they had done some work on the ground too!

Good seat though, but I also agree I would rather that then head between legs bucking!

Agree with the people saying it was slowly introduced. I've seen it before and was a little shocked at first until I saw the other video. It seemed like a very gradual thing, and the horse seemed perfectly fine.

Yep someone else beat you to posting it on here. I remember seeing it before. Someone was training it so it would be used to a wedding dress trail on its bum or something.
 
youtube not working for me but I think the other thing that was suggested last time was it might be a flag horse as is american? and you'd want them pretty bombproof before you took them out to do that job
 
ahhh, takes me back to a lesson earlier in the year....did 2 laps of a mahoosive indoor school just like that. Just to add no plastic was involved, we managed it all by ourselves!
