Since my daughter got her pony , about a year ago, I have been encouraging her to help with yard duties, which is limited as she was 5 when she got him and is now 6.
It all fell on deaf ears until last week when she rode him completly independently .... Proud parent picture warning..,,
Sorry
But now she is wanting to do everything
, I guess I should be grateful, but water, filling haynets, poo picking , mucking out and tack cleaning is taking hours and hours and hours.
I am glad that at last she wants to get down and dirty, but who knew it would turn out to be such a long slog
Any one else wish that they could turn the clock about 5 mins, and that their children could show their interest and bit more gradually ?
