So, we've all got them then - the livery on the yard who is always telling others that their horse has something wrong with it. Its lame, its too thin, too fat, needs shoes, doesnt need shoes, or any one of a million other things which are "wrong" which really aren't. Todays one was "is that horse lame?" - more of a question really - the horse is never lame - but this girl is obsessed with finding fault - when a horse on the yard had a small cut on its leg the other week, it was the end of the world for her. I arrived on scene & it was salt scrubbed, covered in dermagel & that was it - barely even worth bothering with.

How do you all deal with them though? My stock line is "thanks for that opinion, I'll be sure to ask when I need one though" now - but it still p*sses me off when they offer an unwanted & totally invalid diagnosis of a problem which doesnt even exist.

Some kind of prize should be put aside for the person with the most creative/witty putdown...
