Ok so I admit it I'm a woos when it comes to the cold so am after some nice warm breeches or jods for winter. I have some musto snugs already but have worn them to death so they are a bit thin and not so snug now

So any recommendations gratefully received

The Musto Snugs are AMAZING, my best friend bought a pair last winter then broke her leg the first time she wore them and they had to be cut off! She was gutted!

I have to say though last night I was lazy and rode in two pairs of primark fleecy pj bottoms with long socks and long boots and I was so so warm

Harry Hall over trousers-I think they are called Kensington Over Trousers. Waterproof, windproof but breatheable and the best thing a fabulous suede inside the leg which goes from top to bottom so sticking in the saddle is a plus point!

I live in mine during the winter! Prices in the shops are about £50 odd-I got mine through my friend who has an online tack shop so £35

or just get salapets (sp?!) from tkmaxx reduced from £80 to £20 - does the job just as well

i swear by them for winter riding

the mark todd range have just bought out a waterproof johdpur. they are not very thick, but because of the waterproof/windproof properties. it keeps the warmth in. they are really great.

I have a pair of Kyra K long johns to wear under joddies.

They have no inside seam and its easy to get jods over them.

Great as can still wear usual jods and not have to splash out on thick expensive ones.

Think they cost £15

The Mark Todd thicker gisbornes (winter weight) are like the thicker Pikeur fabric. They are quite a bit heavier than the "standard" gisbornes, but are fab breeches. I love the MT range as they are well priced and very good quality
