I know, I know, Thermal Imaging on horses has its limitations. I have spoken to the vet treating my horse, and also to a couple of people who have used thermal imaging on themselves.
I am thinking of getting one of the thermal imaging cameras that you attach to your mobile phone / ipad ( ie Thermavet or Flir). This would be for my own use while rehabilitating a horse after suspensory injury. The cost is around £200 which is a drop in the ocean on my vets bills at the moment. Does anyone own / or have any experience of these particular cameras? What level of image do you get? (I have seen a FLIR i5 in use, but that camera is higher spec and so much more expensive that I could afford for home use.) Or are there any other reasonably priced cameras I should consider?
Many thanks in advance.....
