Would you recommed Thermal Imaging for a horse that wasn't quite right (short on front right in trot) when the vet and farrier can't find anything wrong?

Your thoughts and experiences would be appreciated.

Thanks
:)

Yes Yes Yes !! Im in staffordshire and i used claire ellams. She was the only person who could actually tell me what was wrong with my horse. So interesting !! Definatley worth the money and to be honest if i had a lame horse again the first person i would call is claire !!

Thanks Lulataluna, spoken to Claire this morning and she's coming to the yard on Monday. :)

Ive just Had TI done on one of my horses yesterday by Equiscan he's suffering intermitent lameness & it's difficult one. Im waiting for the results to come back now as they have been sent away to be properly analised by a Proffesional who will then give his opinion in a report that can be given to vets.
I wouldnt of used TI if i hadnt of been able to have the images properly analised as many things that show up under TI can be perfectly normal, i also wanted an extemely accurate camera & Equiscan are the only one's i believe to have a Human Medical grade Camera.

Hope you manage to find what's causing the problem. What's your vet's view on TI?

Dressagecrazy are some of your siggy photos at Beaverhall?

:)

Depends on whether you want a particular body part doing or full body. I'm having my girl's full body done so it's £55.00. Mileage is added if not local. :)

I am actually very interested in this, is there anybody near the south west that does it??? How would I find out? It's the nxt step for one off mine by the sounds off it.

I'm sure there will be someone in your area, I just googled and happened to find someone close by and as luck would have it people on here also recommended her. :)

Hope you find someone, might be worth asking on here. There are lots of people on here from South West region and they may be able to recommend someone?

I'm another fan of TI, my lad has DJD in both hocks and I wanted to see whether it was deteriorating or not and went for TI. It was excellent and showed me what was going on and on that I could make an informed decision.

I used to based in North Somerset and used a horse vet called Colin Duncan who came out with his TI camera. He's quite old school, but knows his stuff and works with alot of racehorses.
