I'm looking to get one of the Aerborn Colin Cook Thermaluxs, possibly the neck cover too and have some questions.
Firstly, is it a 'winter' rug more like thermatexs, or could I use it as a travel rug in summer too?
Seeecond, where can I find them cheaply?! (and yes, I know it's silly but I do want one in the right colours so second hand off Ebay probs not best bet :) )
Lastly, would I be better off getting a Mark Todd coolex? :D

Oooh and also :p What colours do they do? Everywhere I see them, under colour options it just says 'Colin Cook Colours'- what aaaare they? :D
 
i have them for my horses & they are pretty much identical to the thermatex rugs.Sorry dont know about the coolex rugs.

What colours are you thinking? I used to live near the uk factory & may remember the odd colour if prompted!

& FYI aerborn was sold to another uk owner last year & apparently most of the products are now made abroad, not sure if this includes the colin cook range tho!
 
loz9- thanks v much! Was hoping for red bound with black? Link says black/red so guessing that is black bound with red..oh well can't have everything :rolleyes: ;)
lauraandjack- ok so not really a summer rug then..? ah well it will still look nice in the winter :D
 
yup they def do a black bound with red as i have leg wraps like that, but doubt they do a red bound with black. They did however used to do special order rugs so you never know might be worth giving them a ring. They had a crazy pink bound with lilac when i visited the shop once & i have a baby blue bound with navy that someone ordered & never collected.
 
As for the gettin them cheaply you will just have to search every corner of the internet. I used to be able to get them for £45(or even £35 in the last ever sale!) from the shop but sadly its closed down now :( bet u hate me now considering how cheap i used to get mine! :P
