Hi,
Am looking at getting a new exersize rug for my new mare as she is fully clipped this year and 'when' the ice melts and we can get out I think she may get a bit nippy, what with being bare!
She is a 15.2hh slight ISH and wears a 6ft rug the sizings are really confusing any ideas?
Looking at the one that sits behind the saddle rather than underneath as have found in the past some can bunch up so liked the idea of this.
Also anyone have one and rate them?:D

I emailed the other day and got a full detailed sizing chart sent to me (unsure whether to get the 4' or 4'3 for Dante!) I can send you some of the details if you don't want to email them yourself?? :) Might be quicker!

my two are both 6'9 in rugs, and take the 4'6 thermatex quarter sheet(think thats the one you mean, just a square behind saddle, attaches with velcro straps). i imagine yours would want the 4'3 or 4'0 same as sol.

6ft normal rug - 4'6 Thermatex quarter rug which is.....

34.5" total front to back
27" from saddle cut out to back
23" from saddle cut out to tail cut out
30" in depth

or if you went a size down and had the 4'3 it'd be...
31.5" total front to back
24" from saddle cut out to back
20" from saddle cut out to tail cut out
29" in depth

Hope that helps :D

Sol - Thanks for that think the 4'3 is what I will need to go for or a 4'6 will measure tomorrow.

Thank you for all the replies, having looked around this evening they really seem the best idea for what I want.

I would go for a smaller size than you need as thermatex's stretch like nothing on earth!! I have a 5"9 thermatex on a 6"6 horse and even then its hanging off his bum!!
