Thermatex are fantastic. My boys wear them in the winter and they dry the legs in about an hour. They are ok left on overnight. They wash well and dry quickly. Dont know about the Mark Todd ones though.

me and sis use the thermatex ones on our two and they are fab, especially on sis hairy cob

haven't used the mark todd ones though.

Thanks for the replies, Do the thermatex leg wraps come as a pack of 4 or 2?? Another thing I was trying to work out!

Pidge: If thermatex dry the hairies legs out quickly id be tempted to go with thermatex because shes got soooo much feather!

Thank you

I used leg wraps for years on my old horse who would get a fluid build up if stood in the stable overnight.

I found the best type were the Colin Cook ones, they have elasticated velcro so fitted really snggly without the risk of overtightening.

Well I don't think you can much hairier than Sunny and sis washes his feathers and leaves the wraps on for ooh about 10 - 15 minutes tops and they are pretty dry by that time. If you get the ones without the cordobra (sp?) outer you can leave them on overnight. Fab IMO, better than leaving them with wet legs or towel drying them off.

Sparklet i agree.

I have the colin cook thermatex leg wraps they are brillaint. They have 5 elesaticated tapes to give god support where most of the other brands only have 3 max 4.

I love them- think i paid 35 ish for a set of 4 and used them loads

We have the thermatex ones (Colin Cook) and they are great. Murph has fairly hairy legs and they dry them off really well after hunting etc. Never used Mark Todd so can't offer a comparison.
