Thermatex Rugs Sizing?

I'd like to buy one of my horses a Thermatexthis week- I've heard that they are a generous sizing so should I buy it in a size smaller? He's normally a 6ft 6 so would get him a 6ft3 ?

Also if you know of any good mail order rug companies with a fast delivery service please feel free to let me know as I need some other rugs as well as the Thermatex.

They do come up generous in size if your horse is normally a 6'6 then 6'3 will be fine.
As for mail order we use Jumpers Horse line they do quick delivery and Ride-a-Way are very good too and have a good selection of rugs. Wouldnt touch Robinsons or Derby House neither of them have managed to dispatch orders to me on time and when things have come its not what Ive ordered.

Yep, 6'3 would be the right size as they are generously sized and stretch a bit over time.

Unless your horse is a hugely overweight and full up creature, a rug size down WILL fit. A 5'9 drowns my usuall 5'9 horse and it's a sort of stretchy drowning, so def go for the next size down to normal. I promise. They go bigger

My 6ft3 rug drowns my mare who takes 6ft3!! but fits my big mare who usually takes 6ft6. Def go for a size down.

Agree re thermatex a size down. Townfields are great for mail order.

Agree go a size smaller than usual and also recommend Rideaway for mail order. Robinsons aren't great at the best of times and worse around Christmas. It's always worth checking eBay for new as well as used goods.
