Thermatex rugs

We have 2 thermatex cooler rugs which are quite old, but 2 fastenings have now gone (broken in half) on Pepper's within the last week..
I'm not sure if they have the same fastenings now, but they're really silly (the ones you loop through like a buckle, but with no pin) - very technical terms!

Was wondering if anyone else had this problem & what you did about it?
They're rather expensive rugs to replace!!

phone thermatex, im sure they will mend them for you for a small charge.

I'd just take them dow the saddlers & ask them to put new fasteners on, it shouldn't cost much.

Some of their other rugs have a plastic clip that snaps in, can't really explain but it's much more secure. Maybe see if you can pop them in and pay to have them changed. The plastic ones are on their thin coolers (not the original squares coolers)

How good are you with needle and thread?? It would probably be much cheaper to buy the fastening yourself, which im sure is possible from any craft/sewing shop, and fix it yourself?? I hope that helps!!

the place you send your rugs to be cleaned may be able to do the repairs for you, althernativly as Nic85 suggests you could give it a go
