I've got a really old one and my husband has offered to get me a new one for Christmas . Are they as good as they used to be and where, on line is the cheapest place for him to buy one?

I got mine secondhand on ebay for less than £40 which was a right bargain as it was nearly new.

Hi everyone, I am selling Thermatex in Australia and as its new over here, noone knows how great they are! Tell me how long you have had your rug for- 5 years, 10 maybe?

I've had both of mine for 9 and 10 years. They have been brilliant, I use then to put on a damp horse and wick moisture away. Pop them on for going hunting to keep the chill off on the way there, and to keep them toasty but drying on the way back. On their own on a night with a slight chill and under stable rugs for really cold nights.

Both of them look slightly second hand now, but have worked hard over the years and have been worth every penny spent buying them. They really have lasted well and wash easily and beautifully - to be honest they don't look their age.

After Christmas, I'm treating both horses and little pony to nice new ones. Thermatex rugs are a real quality product, I love mine.

Here are a few online tack shops. The cheapest I have found of these are tally ho farm.
It is saying due to demand ( on most of the shops listed) that delivery could take from 4 to 6 weeks.

I'd give Thermatex a call direct. Absolutely fantastic rugs wouldn't be without them. We've got coolers, stable rugs and their leg wraps. All superb, wash and wear like new.

I have just bought one off ebay from a shop (rideyourbest) got it with cross surcingles, delivered for under £105 and it was 6ft9, cheapest place I could get it from by far and delivery was next day. PM if you want contact details

do they do neck covers?

not sure about the neck covers, I think they might as I know they do the leg wraps etc. I was lucky as I told them what size I wanted and that I wanted the cross surcingles and asked what colours they had available (I wanted it before xmas) Luckily they had some in stock and the colour I wanted. Otherwise they will order in from Thermatex.
