Hi there,

As the title really. I am thinking of treating my horse (?or me, if I am being honest?) to a thermatex rug, and maybe the leg wraps as well. I have looked at the travel boots and think on the one hand, it would be nice to have all the gear in the same colours. On the other hand, I don't travel her very often and they are expensive for travel boots.

Can anyone comment on how good/different they are from cheaper alternatives.

BTW I am probably going for the Black, with white& purple binding.

Yes they travel boots on the website, thermatex fabric and cordura covered so bedding less likely to stick and it says they are soft and so good for youngsters. Not that mine is a youngster, but I do have a 6 month old foal that will be.

I have the Thermatex Travel boots (get the ones with Cordura if you are even remotely likely to go anywhere near a shavings bed!) as I have a grey so it means I can bath him on the morning of a show, wrap his legs in them and travel straight away (rugged up with fleece/Thermo cell as appropriate.
Quite hard wearing, I've had mine two show seasons and still going strong.
