I'm in my second year studying Equine Business Management and am looking for suggestions and ideas for my dissertation, preferably within the breeding sector or the nutrition sector

Talk to whoever will be your dissertation supervisor.
If you don't have a diss supervisor and need a topic first then I suggest you look at the research background of all staff in your department and see what is interesting to you. You could even approach a lecturer whose research interests align with yours and ask if there's any basic research they want/need/would like carried out.

It is not a great idea <understatement> to crowdsource a diss topic and I'd be incredibly unimpressed if one of my students was trying to do this.
