Roxie has thrown up a couple of times today but I didn’t worry too much until she was moping around all afternoon and then started shivering this evening even though our house is warm.

Whipped her down to the vet and no temp or other concerning symptoms so she’s had a painkiller jab and an anti sickness one. Hopefully she’ll be feeling better soon!

£100 poorer but it’s worth it to make her feel better.

She was fine at lunchtime, happily sunbathing on my lap.
I’m hoping she just scavenged something on our walk this morning that’s disagreed with her rather than anything more serious.

My friend’s Lancashire Wheeler was very much the same, scavenged item suspected, vet’s bill and a few days later back to her perky self.
Bless Roxie, am looking forward to more pics of her in flight with the ears flapping 🤞

She’s not usually a scavenger and I didn’t see her pick anything up, but you never know. Hopefully she’ll by like your friends dog and back to normal quickly.
Shes very cute! My girl is jumping off the sofa thinking she is a puppy, doesn’t realise it hurts now shes an old girl 🥺
Bless her, it’s hard to see them getting older but sounds like she’s still loving life!

She’s been back at the vet today as still a bit shivery and sad.

Theyve done bloods and another check and it all looks ok. Got more painkillers and a diet of chicken & rice for a few days. Hopefully she’ll pick up soon as it’s so sad seeing her mope about as she’s usually so cheerful. She didn’t even try to steal the toddler’s breakfast this morning- unheard of!
