They do say 'start em young'...*health and safety patrol look away now*

Wow at the hair (as everyone else has said!) - I thought my 3 week old had a lot of hair but wowza! I did attempt to sit mine on the shetland last week, think he needs some head control before I can get a photo though!

9lbs 12...that made me cry thinking about it!
So cute! The horse does look a bit dangerous though, it may have started leaping about at any minute.

love it..natural seat, looks totally at home and dare I say it after his first pic I notice he was just dismounting and horse had worked up a little sweat around his girth so i dare say he's been actually riding not just a passenger! When will you be hiring him out?:Dxx

We discussed this at the yard yesterday with my friend who has a nine week old. It was suggested that we superglue the legs of a babygrow to the horse's back and that would keep her up there :D

Oh yeah, whoops...how silly of me to think 17 hands of warmblood could carry one stone of weight, let alone when tack comes into the equation!! Please don't call the RSPCA on me... :D

Praise for your poppet of a baby, and also for your kind horses. It always fascinates me how the bigger the hrose, the gentler they are with little ones - generally anyway. Very very touching pics.

Ahh thanks all :) Im obviously biased but I think he's rather a cute little chap too!

Everyone said 'oh that'll fall out' about his hair, but nope, it's just kept growing - upwards!!

It won't fall out! With mine, their hair thinned out a bit as their heads grew and they had rubbed out patches on the back, but that's all. All the babies on both sides of my family are born with loads of hair and none has fallen out yet!

I do hope you mean this big chestnut that's lovely not the black bog pony lol (can you guess which ones mine!?) G (chestnut) couldn't look like more of a dope on a rope if he tried!!
