My lot were introduced to a drone this afternoon. There are a couple of local clubs who fly drones over the bridlepaths, and are completely oblivious to passing horses - so rather than getting our knickers in a twist about it, we decided to get our own, and use it to get the horses used to them.
I was pleasantly surprised by how well they tolerated it!

Great idea. I invited a drone flyer onto my land for the same reason.

That's awesome. My younger brother flies his near our horses. I was a bit nervous at first, but it turns out they don't care. My somewhat spooky Arabian gelding was even running after it. He must have thought it was edible. He'll do anything
for food.

Yes I do! It's one of the things that I ask them when they arrive-whether they mind me sharing photos on Facebook/social media. I have had some who didn't want me to, so I don't.

My cousins BF used to fly his drone over our field. The horses had a run about if they were in the mood. Often they carried on as normal. Would like him to do it more often ?
