A family wanting to rehome their 10 month old puppy, or as they say want rid asap, "want him removed" because it killed the childrens baby rabbits, or as they said "murdered"

The puppy has hurt and upset the family beyond belief and he should have known better

Give me strength

I never fail to be amazed by people who credit animals with human feelings and reasoning

Animals are not humans and need to be dealt with according to the characteristics of their species, whatever that might be.

The owners of that puppy risk ruining their own children's chances of a sensible attitude towards animals in the future.


I met one of our cats coming out of my room with a baby Guinea pig dangling from its mouth when I was young. I had read the books carefully and counted the days and didn't have a thought about that they could come earlier, so I hadn't moved the mother Guinea pig to a baby safe cage.
I cried like Niagara falls but in between I said more than once that I knew it was not Felix's fault and as I clearly recall, I only blamed myself.



I hereby want to thank my mother and father for helping me get such a sensible attitude towards animals already in young age.

I have this vision of a puppy plotting or premeditating murder! Idiots! I am glad they have rehomed it....They rank almost as highly as the stupid people who leave a dog all day then rub its nose in excrement ....another pet hate of mine!
Our nieces and nephews witnessed Hazzie killing a rabbit whilst out on a walk and the youngest said:
"He would kill our pet rabbit wouldn't he if you let him?"
To which we answered yes that's why he would not be let off a lead in their garden, and not taken into Pets world or other pet shops with furries in the middle on display... That startling revelation came from a 5 year old! Lord help the kids of these parents!

I don't have the pup, it has taken in by a family, we have agreed to neuter, vax and chip and offer back when in a permanent home, basically looks like a boxer

will see if they have pics of her yet.
I think the family may keep the pup, they have already become attached to the little murderer

Crikey, my old girl killed three of my bunnies in two seperate incidents, she was so pleased with herself that we didn't even have the heart to shout at her, she was like 'LOOK! I finally got them! Aren't I clever!'.

I'm another one thankful that my mother educated about the big bad world of animal ownership.

Are AB's common on the mainland? I met one here, a man who wanted to start breeding them and introducing them here stayed with us for a few nights, she was kept in his van, on our first meeting she knocked me onto my back, he used to take her to the woods and train her to hang off a massive log on a bit of rope.
Poor girl, didn't much like her but it was her owner's fault she was like that.
