Ive never had to deal with this before so can anyone tell me about these doggie pants and pads for in season bitches. Anyone use them and how do the dogs wee, I assume you have to remove them every time they want to go out ? Not really got anywhere to shut her in on suitable flooring indoors.
Not looking forward to this, I want to get her spayed asap but must get her teeth done first then give her a bit of time to get over that. Shes acting very restless at the mo and Im thinking she may be coming in.

Most bitches are fairly clean, I have never had too much of an issue with mess, just the odd bit of spotting, I do change the bedding more regularly during a season.
I would expect that the pants would be rather stressful for her so would not use them.

I’ve used the paddy pants on bitches with a heavier flow. I never banished my bitches to a certain room because they were in season & consequently needed some sort of protection to prevent staining. They were never bothered by them. I would remove said pants prior to pee times.

As Sandstone says, I would never put pants on a dog, they maintain it themselves and the odd spot you can wipe up. Ours know 'on your bed' and we discourage random wanderings at messy times.

My bitches have always been meticulous in keeping themselves clean but you could cover any furniture with old sheets if you’re concerned. I wouldn’t put any kind of pants on a dog tbh.

We rarely have had any trouble with any more than the occasional spotting, most bitches are very clean. I wouldn't use the pants. I don't think that I would have her spayed either, she would be unlikely to develop the problems that some unspayed bitches have when they haven't had pups.

Please don’t put pants on here, so unnatural and stressful. She is only a small dog, she won’t make much mess.
Bitches who have had litters can still get pyometra, the mother of one of my girls died from it inspite of having had two litters. She was rushed to the vets but couldn’t be saved, it was very distressing.
