Thicko passport question

how do you change the owners name on a passport - its a SHGB one, does the old owner have to give me a letter or do i just send it off??

If you have a receipt/letter, so much the better but if not, they will write to last owner and ask them to sign something; if the owner doesn't reply within a fortnight I think, they'll change it to your name anyway. (that's what happened to me last year anyway)

If you search on the net for the passport company they normally have all the info and prices for all alterations to passports.

thank you, i was looking for ages on their website trying to find a phone number, just found it, its the big button on the top that says "contact" Derrrrhhhhh

You should have received a transfer of ownership form signed by the previous owner when you bought the horse.

Not necessarily, it all depends on the system implemented by each PIO.
