I am so fed up. Since being at my new field I have had a rug that I had less thaan 6 hours and various buckets stolen, despite being locked up.

Last night is the final straw, they took my cod liver oil. I sometimes wish I was cruelly minded and I would fill up an empty bottle and put something that would make their horses poorly and then cuase them a hugh vets bill.

I am not that horrible and would never make another animal feel poorly, but what if it had not been cod liver oil and some medicine, then they would have problems and so would I.

JUST LEAVE MY STUFF ALONE

Any ideas on human boobie traps

Got a very large german shepherd you could leave there for a few hours?

Seriously though, such a pain

Only thing i could suggest is a camera of some sort? Or electric fencing all the way around and across the gate?

Post code your rugs in paint or mark with horses freezemark
Maybe you need a metal dustbin and lock and chain the lid round a post
Mark all your grooming kit etc with paint
My son used to have everything marked for PC camp hopefully so that it came home with him--looks like you have to do that at stables.

I Found that various of my supplements at the livery yard were being "borrowed", not fun when a large tub of cortaflex lasted under 2 months

. So i bought a cheap plastic trunk from a major DIY chain & Stuck a damn great padlock on it

. Gosh that caused some remarks when i did it & yes it was a bit of a hassle undoing each time. But suddenly a 4 month supply lasted me 4 months again!

Also agree with painting your name in large letters or postcode on everything.
