Yesterday my good mate Tedster came to her yard to find that her horsebox and ALL the tack (for 8 horses!!!!!) was gone. :mad:

The B******s had also stolen a digger from the next lot and cut all the fences down leaving her shetland free to wander off.

It's an absolute F****** disgrace!!!!! :mad:

What gives these people the right to take other people's hard earned things??!!! It's disgusting!

Please see her post in Stolen section and keep your eyes open for a Blue Bedford TK lorry. It is an old 1973 lorry with a red stripe and the living and partitions have been ripped out.

GRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PS we are in Middlesex/West London area so be vigilant!
 
It is disgusting. My heart goes out to her. Thank god they didn't take the horses.

We had all our tack and rugs stolen in broad daylight a year ago. Its devastating. I didn't even know what size bits they took at the time as they'd come with them etc.

Always keep full lists of exactly what you own, and measurements. Its hard to remember when something awful like this happens.
 
Do you have the reg of the lorry? One of my friends services lorries and boxes just like this and we're not far from West London. Utter self sex specialists, aren't they? >:

Fergus is back safely. She is terrified that the horses will go :( We are only down the road so I'm worried too - luckily Zoom has only one eye so don't think they'd want her :D

TEDSTER!!!!! - Do you have the lorry reg???? It is a very distinctive old banger so hopefully someone spots it.

Fergus the shetland is safe and well but it was awful as thought he was stolen :( Thanks goodness all the horses are ok ... But my lorry it wass old and people did laugh at it but was priceless to me living in london due to the emissions zone took months to find and I loved it

Thousands of tack taken I am insured but it will take a while to sort out and replace... M&Z has been fab and has rallied round and lent some tack to try so hope it fits :)

You nearly fgave me a heart attack when I saw the post title- assumed it meant they'd been down to us overnight.
Still, with Phoenix new haircut I reckon we're safe & I've taken my rugs home now too- I'd resigned myself to if they got nicked it wasn't the end of the world as they're only spare but still if there's theiving g!ts around, better safe than sorry.

Shame about your lorry S- were the police any good? If you still wanna do your HT on Sunday, Phoenix saddle might fit if you want to borrow it as a one off?
 
God, that is so sickening. I'm so sorry. I hope you manage to get your lorry and tack back Tedster.

It really is incomprehensible how people think that these things are ok?!?!
