Hi everyone :)

had my farrier today and he mentioned that swallows soles on her front feet are thin and asked what she had been doing I told him just walking to the field which is down a very stony path he asked me to walk her on grass if I can.

he said once she's in work later this year going into next year she'll need front shoes.

I don't really want her to have shoes unless she really needs them.is there any I can do to help her feet grow thicker soles ?

look at her diet there are lots of past threads on here about it and unless she is very lame on them keep walking on thev track and as many other surfaces as she is comfortable with to stimulate healthy hoof growth
