Things every horse owner should own?

As I have been a horse owner for a mere four months, I sometimes feel I'm being taken for a ride when I buy a product that turns out to be RUBBISH

(e.g. a masta rug which slips & slides all over the place so gave it away; does same thing on other horse!)

SO, are there any things which are really great which always prove useful?

Any contributions? I'm compiling a wish list of things I'm going to buy (Quillin headcollar, veredus or eskadron tendon boots, thermatex/coolex rug, polypad...)

Robinsons circular hayney filler. I kiss mine every day during the winter. Lost count of the number of times I have broken my back filling a bl**dy haynet in the cold and wet only to find the bl**dy string lost somewhere deep down in the net so had to unpack it all and start again....... Robinsons thing...brilliant! Also, the Robinsons 2-step mounting block.
 
I know this is slightly different but we were talking the other day and came to the conclusion the most useful things on the yard are hoof pick and a hame strap! (or flash strap) We use both for so many different jobs other than what they're intended for!

Well I cant live without:

Bartyl Sheepskin Saddlecloth - The ONLY one which doesnt slip back when Id tried everything else.
Eurostar jods - So comfy, thick material so wash well and last ages.
Baby Wipes - For everything.
Weatherbeeta and FAL rugs.
N.E.W XC boots and Eskadron tendon boots - Both excellent.
Ariat Bromont Talls - Bit too long for me, but SOOOO warm at shows!
GPA Xtreme - So comfy and lightweight.
 
Thermatex (a must) Ariat boots (sooooo comfy) All my rhino turnout rugs swear by them they cost a bit moor but r definatly worth it they keep horse warm and dry and r breathable if they get hot i use mine in stable and out.
 
Very naughty jus bought a lapel rug on line there sooooo lovely was reduced jus got to break it to hubby now!!!!!!!!ooooops

Luxuries include clarendon boots, only things that fit my arab for XC. Veredus grand prix tendon boots, had a pair but shrank them on a 90% wash by accident! Saving for another pair now....
