Things I don’t miss about Robin having quieter life

Studs! Having a clear out and found his studs. I hated hated hated doing studs. But I never wanted him to go XC or sj on grass without stud. So much stress and trauma trying to deal with blasted studs. Constantly cleaning out so I didn’t leave to long with the hope it would make life easier. Trying different stud plugs which were all equally rubbish (although the brightly coloured studz plugz led the way). Buying new studs and getting to show to find I didn’t check they fitted my spanner. Then that silly little stone that would not come out. Along with setting off with a full set of studs and him coming back minus one (sharer thought my fault so she tried and the same problem!) And then at work every single blooming time there was a need for studs it was me having to clean out and prepare. There was always that one stud hole that you trashed the thread on. The trying to re tap them before horse put foot down.

I have never been so delighted to get rid of something!!!

The first thing I trained Mr EM to do when we started going out was how to do studs and next was how to drive the lorry - it's really amazing he stuck with me for over three decades!

Very good plan! I have to say Robin was very patient with me huffing and puffing with his shoes!!
