Things to do on Holiday!

From Texas but will be visiting my English BF for a little less than a month during Dec/Jan! Very excited and thought I would try to squeeze in a few equine-related activities while I'm in another country! Unfortunately he isn't into horses but he'll just have to deal with it.

We are going to the Olympia Horse Show and I'm very excited about that! Would love other tips on what to do and where to do it during my time over there. Cool hacks/trails or clinics/lessons (Dressage) would be awesome.

Will be staying in London, Birmingham, Liverpool, and up into Edinburgh so would have to stay around those cities.

We're only 50 mins from London by train and have some stunning hacking. Pop in for a lesson or a hack with us! Park Farm Equestrian Centre, Oakley, Hampshire.

How about a day at the races? Aintree and Haydock are both near Liverpool and I'm sure you're non-horsey friend can enjoy a flutter.
Also, Boxing Day and New Years Day are very big hunting days and would be quite a thing to see going off. You might get a hireling but it would cost you a good chunk of money and you NEED to have all the correct clothes. You might find it hard to get contact details of the real hunts but there are plenty of drag/bloodhound packs who promote what they've got planned depending on which area of the country you're in at the time.
