Things we used to do when we were younger...but would have the guts for it now

I used to get on any horse, no questions asked, didn't even know if it had been broken, i'd just get on it.

Jumping with only a rope round the ponys neck.

Balance exercises (round the world etc) whilst riding down the road.

Jumping hedges into fields from the road just to gallop around and then jumping back out again.

Galloping with my eyes closed.

Riding backwards.

Jumping off bales too.

Setting up jumps in the garden and pretending to ride famous showjumping horses round the course.

Putting a wet platic sheet on the conservatory roof, going out my bedroom window and sliding down it and jumping off the end onto the lawn.

and endless more TOTALY STUPID things - LOL

Going hunting (Berkeley Country) on a pony I had never ridden before and approaching huge hedge and wondering if it could jump!!

Sneaking out in the dead of night and riding double on friends Welsh Cob in the dark on bridle paths and being knocked off of his back bumping into low tree branches!

Jumping five bar gates with just a headcollar as couldn't be bothered to lead and open gates!

Just a few of my misspent youth adventures.

I used to jump anything, now about 1 metre is cool and high enough for me.
Every where in head collar and lead rope at any speed, now there is only 2 horses i will ride from the field in just head collar and lead rope.
I just never used to see the danger in anything, most things now i weight up the risk, mostly still go for it but sometimes will step away
