Things you did when you were little

Was just about to post about the being on a train and imagining galloping along, jumping all the hedges. God, I still do that now as well! I know someone else who does that too though and she falls in to the vaguely 'normal' category too, so not worried about sanity just yet. Just remembered something else - I used to wear my riding hat whenever I could in public, so proud that someone might think I had a horse! I saw a little girl in a shopping centre last week doing the same and it all came flooding back to me!

This is such a warming thread I used to carry my whip with me for the same reasons then everyone would ask me why do I have a fishing line

I also tied rope on my bike!! i also made jumps in the garden, and went on "hacks", galloping over the fields (well running anyway) i even carried a stick to tap my imaginary horse, i also pretended to groom and tack up as well.lol

I used to do that with boots my grandad got them for me after i had a couple of lessons, and i wore them all the time.

I had a hobby horse my mum made me, his head was an old sock with buttons for eyes, used to ride him round the local bridle paths jumping logs etc!! I loved him! Did eventually get a proper pony though

I used to sit in the front garden and clean my tack and put my saddle over the garden wall so every one would see it and they would know i had a pony! And my riding hat would always go on the parcel shelf of my mums car

Yep, I used to do that as well, infact, I still do too!!!!
