Things you have found in your hay

I put my boys hay in to a large black bin that is suspended so it does not fall over. Today I went to fill up the bin and found a rabbits foot at the bottom
What kind have things have you found in your feed ?

We had a dead snake last week - too flattened to tell what kind. A whole fox? Wow. Did the LACS try to bring a prosecution for illegal hunting?!

A golf ball nice orange one ..lol Half a barbie doll she had no head, half way into the hay i found her head..lol A baby bird dead. It was so small,but my horse would not eat the hay as she knew it was there. Took me sometime to see it on floor as it fell out.

Found a mechanical arm off the baler once and the odd tin can!

I think of it as a free gift!

I doubt the farmers can do much about it, its not like they can scour their land for days on end before they bale it! (I'd hate to think of the price of a bale if they incorporated that into it!)

A rusty, broken metal spike . . . I found it when it was poking out of a hay bale I had just hung up in Kal's stable.

Not in hay but in a bale of paper bedding was an empty whiskey bottle. I told supplier as this could have been a vets bill waiting to happen if I hadn't noticed.
Apparently company wad aware a worker had a serious drink problem& had been on last warning. I guess he was about to get caught drinking at work & dumped bottle into baler.
No consideration for anyone's horse.
Usual dead stuff in hay, but this spring had a robin nest in the bales. Oh & I quite often find 1 2 or3 if my terriers in amongst the hay bales.
