one won't touch any Polos! But loves Chilli Doritos and hot chocolate!
Never thought of bananas might give that a go. The other one will eat anything but adores it if I cook apples into mush in hot water and add some treacle...
My girl won't eat anything that's not hay, cereal based feed or green grass. She's highly suspicious of anyone who tries to give her white minty things, clearly thinks it's some sort of drugging tactic
she's a piggin nightmare if she needs bute or anti biotics as nothing can mask the taste so she's eat it. I wish I had a none fussy horse, my old pony would eat anything you offered him, including small children
My boy doesn't like sugar free polos either but pretty much everything else is ok including his Christmas mince pie. If he had to give marks out of 10 he'd always put anything in a bowl ahead of anything growing! Haven't tried him on small children yet lol!
Ed won't eat garlic or anything with garlic in it, he doesn't like things that smell.
He would also attack me for Starburst Joosters but wouldn't eat the yellow ones!
Stylo will eat most horsey feeds going but try bringing human food or drink near him and he is not a happy bunny. You should have seen the look on his face when I offered him a poppadom
It took me 3 weeks to persuade my new horse to eat a slice of apple and even longer to progress to quartered apples in his feed. He will not touch carrots, polos or any sort of treat and he is still suspicious of apples in an empty bowl, they make too much noise apparently
He did steal my banana the other day though and appeared to quite enjoy it.
Have not found anything yet that he wont eat, he's munched on my plastic mini clipper guard, eaten my tinsel, crimbo cards, tried eating a wooden spoon that he had to bite on when being shod, oh and the farriars bum...he stops at nothing...he'll even chew on stones!
My horse wont eat polos either - seems not to know what to do with them - they get stuck between his lip and his front teeth and he rattles them around then spits them out! Very amusing!
He also doesnt like apples - if i put them in his feed he eats the feed around them, licks the bucket clean and leaves the apples in a nice pile in the bottom!
) but he doesn't like the veg peelings from christmas, maybe he thinks the sprouts will make him fart even more?!
Won't eat shortbread, bananas, or chocolate brownies. But they love jammie dodgers, choc digestives, and my sisters pony' personal favourite, choclate topped flapjack - he just looooves the sugar rush!
And mines loves giving the tasty physio a good nibble
In fact mine loves putting everything in his mouth, apart from his bit apparently!!!
My boy will actually eat anything....... takes after his mum
But has a real obsession for passion fruit smoothies, we have it plastered up the side of the horsebox when he was trying to share his love of it with everyone!
Anything with honey in/on it! Pretty much anything elae she will scoff without thinking, just hates honey flavored anything - she can spit quite a long way!Lol!
