Poor Eclipse was knackered - it seems to really take it out of the older ladies (she's 18 this year) as opposed to the younguns who seem to cope a little better.
I filmed the first part but couldn't film him coming out as she plonked herslef down in the corner and I couldn't get there! We'd already got her up once when she plonked herself down against the walland were about to do it again when out he popped!!
She was obviously shy about having an audience!
I will try and get pink and blue boards for the next one! Eclipse's sisters are due in the next 2 weeks so can't wait to see what they have.
Oh he is a bay colt by the way - no spots, infact I don't think he has any white at all...WIll get better pics tomorrow...
Wow! You came straight on here after all that, what time was it in the UK?
I'm glad to hear that they are both OK, my husband was disgusted at my daughter and I, we actually ate our supper in front of the screen watching events! Looking forwards to photos. Do you have many more mares to foal down now?
I was so very sorry to hear about the loss of Phantoms foal too, I hope she is doing alright.
As you can probably tell from the posts we were all abit worried for a while becasue we couldn't see him arrive. But really glad he is ok and that Eclipse is alright.
Yes she decided to do it in the darkest possible corner bless her - bless!
Enfys I had to watch her for a while on cam to make sure he was suckling/pooing ok and so it stops me getting too bored if I post on a coupleof forums!!
4 more to go now...Eclipse's 2 sisters are also due very soon...
