Think i have heard it all now

I breed these, mine arecalled huskoms...I may try advertising my next litter as pomskys and see if I can get more money. My are all health checked though (I bet the pomskys aren't). Mine are a propper breed though, they are now classed as pedigrees. :) I have one at crufts this year. I also sell little sleds for them...so cuteeee.

Ha ha...sorry my bad..MM is mean :( :p
a little lap dog he he, I would never describe anything remotelt husky as a lap dog, tell them to get a pom....I think its because they want the daft name if they are honest as that cross is ludicrous.....you where right with your 1st thoughts "you have heard it all" aplogies for my p taking lol.

A friend has got one. Paid a fortune for it. Expected it to grow to Spaniel size at the most. It is now a very large dog, looks just like a normal huskey to me.

The picture that is often used to appeal to suckers, sorry- buyers, is actually a Finnish Lapphund pup. I have to laugh when they say the pup will grow to an avaerage of the dam's & sire's weights. Male huskys can be much bigger than bitches & the pet poms used to breed are often oversized so the pups can be expected to be brder collies sized with the capability to run & run.

This is from the website
" The husky is loving, gentle, docile and playful. Mate the Siberian husky with the Pomeranian and you end up with Pomsky puppies that have a stunning coat of hair and the sweetest nature on earth"
Much as I like Huskies it is not how I would describe them. How is it even physically possible, is it AI ?

Huskies are reasonably small dogs anyway, or should be (shall we ignore my backyard bred monstrosities :p) - bitches can be as small as 16kg and 20 inches. A lady local to me has a team of working bitches some of which only weigh about 14kg, they're like little furry bags of wire coathangers.

The majority of them look like huskies.

I totally agree with the person questioning the breed description of huskies... They are working dogs and are best when they are working or having a lot of exercise. I've known a couple kept as pets with not a lot of exercise and they were, quite frankly, neurotic. One of them was downright vicious to anyone outside of his 'pack' and had to be muzzled at all times in public, he'd go for anything, kids, dogs, cats, he didn't care and seemed to perceive everything as a threat. Of course this led to him being kept in more, which led to him becoming even more of a handful.

This whole "designer mutt" thing is becoming absolutely ridiculous.

Hay, I was thinking of breeding a Box Box.
It would be pedigree boxer crossed with a pedigree boxer.
So, a Boxer..... but because it's got a ridiculous name I could sell it for 3 x the price!
Wadda ya think?

I think XerXer sounds more exotic

Actually, Xeraboo.

Need to get the 'a' in there to make it more classy and add an extra o on the end, a bit like you should do with the price!

Or possible "Rebox"? (Boxer mixed up). then you can sell different sizes as well.....Rebox size 7, for example.

Been thinking for a while. My two fav breeds are Whippet and Irish Wolf Hound. Perhaps I could have the first wolfwhip or would it be a Wolpet?

like the sound of a Wolpet. "Old dog not behaving? Why don't you WOLPET it! You'll never be disappointed."

Maybe they've been had, maybe it is a normal Husky!! A bit like the standard pigs sold as 'micro pigs' ;)
