Sorry, this will hopefully be the last jump post I will bore you with! lol

Last month I decided it might be cheaper to make my own jumps. So we made a pair of wings before my dad gave up on the idea!!!

The wings cost me £30 in wood to make, £5 in paint, £20 for two pairs of cups and £20 in poles adding up to £75 for a home made jump!!! Not really the bargain I had banked on in the end lol.

Soooo, have now found a guy who makes much better quality jumps than what I have for the same price! Before I go ahead and order what do you make of these prices....

£75 for an unpainted jump set.... pair of wings, 2 poles, 4 cups (He charges £95 if you want them painted but it's cheaper for me to do that myself as I already have the paint)

£28 for a road closed filler including a pair of flat cups which cost £11 to buy seperatly.

£50 for two planks. Again including 4 flat cups which would cost me £22 to buy seperatly.

Gate for £45 including cups

Hanging fillers and cups for £55

Does this sound reasonable?

Sounds pretty reasonable to me. OH makes jumps and they are time consuming and the materials are expensive!

I already had a set of old wings here and we just coppied them! They are actually really easy to make if you have the wood and cutting equiptment

Here's a wing I made
