Well I took my girl to the vets on Friday as she had been out of sorts for a few weeks but nothing specific, no temperature, eating the same, toilets the same but she just seemed sad and like she couldn't be bothered. I initially thought it was just she had got into a very laid back routine where I had been out at work lot's but now that has stopped she hasn't changed, new dog arrived a few days ago and that hasnt had any impact either. Anyway explained it all to the vet who thought it might be pain related and found a bit of limited movement on both front and hind on 1 side but as she hates being at the vets it wasn't very conclusive so sge is on pain killers for a week and then go back next week and investigate further, me thinks itmay be a long exexpensive process. I am now over analysing everything so everytime she moves I think "does she seem more spritely there, did she have little spells before where she perked up?" Honesty its driving me insane with all the over thinking.

you're good not to ignore it, I called the vet out for one of the ponies once, just saying 'she's not herself' she did end up in the vets for nearly 2 weeks with probably a virus. the worry is horrible (as are the bills!) but try not to worry too much before you know anything. you're doing your best for her.

My bleeding dogs had a fight - Staffie and Boxer

The boxer came off far worse, never want to witness that sight again, she nearly died.

£2100 vet bill

Nae impressed, not insured either. Lucky both are ok now though that's the main thing.

It happened in back of our truck when I was in doctors, no idea why it happened, we think because we had brought a new dog into the pack and upset the dynamics , won't ever happen again as now they travel in cages . They back to best mates again too so that's nice.

Huge vet bill though

Hope your one nae as bad as ours was,

Crikey that sounds scarey! Glad to hear they are both ok, mine have had a few scraps since the new one arrived but no bloodshed thank goodness. Thankfully my girl is insured so will get vet fees back I just think it might take lots of investigation to find where and what the pain is before we even get to treating it.
