They're good. Have you bought tickets though? Althought they say you can buy on the door, they're always a sell out around here.

Monty Roberts is brilliant!
I saw him roughly 3 years ago and it was a real eye opener.
I'd pay to go again, but thats just my personal preference. Depends whether your into his sort of thing.
He definetly taught me a lot.

I think there are far cheaper ways to learn how to do groundwork.

I also think (sorry tangent), if you are "devoting" your life to making things better for horses...why's it all so darned pricey?

Also add on to the £30 the considerable cash you'll require for the gadgets he'll tell you you'll need.

Monty does not make a profit for himself out of these tours, the money made is ploughed back into his work with horses and troubled foster children. If you think how much it costs to hire a big equestrian centre, travel round the country with the team, stay in motels (Monty doesn't do big hotels), travel Pie and Cesar in the horse lorry as well, £30 isn't that much.

Hope you enjoyed the demo, he's great to watch and really makes you think about how your behaviour affects your horse.

Hi

I have just got back, I thought it was great. I knew one of the horses too, and it was really good to see him work with a local horse.

I would recommend, but he does try and sell all of his gadgets and a millions books and dvds!

I wouldnt ask about monty roberts on this forum, some people feel that he, parelli & other natural horsemen are a waste of space 'carrot sticking and excercise ball rolling' i think is how it was put.
they dont seem to appreciate the importance of his work.
I would love to have the chance to see monty at work myself!

hope you enjoy it!
