...Im having a thought here, so bare with me!!
I love my current yard, its cheap, I have lovely stables, facilities and own turn out paddocks.
My situation is this....Im preganant and my yard is a good 20 minute drive from my house and its VERY DIY and although DIY has always been perfick for me, Im starting to really struggle. Also NO ONE rides out, so Im always having to ride on my own which I dont mind too much, but when I need to hack Arch out and he's in 'one of them moods' I would feel much happier if I had some one with me. Take last night for instants, it was too hot and I was too tired to school him, so thought I go for a wonder round our gallops, but he had a turn and starting rearing and spinning, I got off as I cant risk coming off (usually I get after the little bugger and not take any nonsence) Now if some one was with me, they would have just given him a lead and all would have been fine.
Ive tried advertising some one to come and ride my other horsre with me, but no joy. One girl did come a couple of times and Ive not heard from her since!
It really all boils down to needing abit more help. BUT where I am at the mo is so cheap it enables me to afford two horses.
On the other hand, Ive got a meeting with my sponsor tomorrow and if that doesnt got to plan, I will just turn them both out for 6 months, which then leaves me having to find a paddock to rent for 6 months.
Oh the joys and stress of owning horses.......
