Thinking of Rolex Kentucky next year but.....

..... will there be less 'big' names there due to the Olympics or do you think they will still go albeit on their 2nd (or less) string?

Do you think it would be best leaving it for another year as I'll only go once and want to see the best of it.

Interesting thought. I'm not sure. I reckon people will go, especially if they think that people will be holding their good horses back for the Olympics - surely that would give other people more of a shot? Also, by then people will know if they're on the short list or not, so it should be all normal for the others... Perhaps it would be best to go the following year to be certain?

Yes I think you're right about the others having a better shot Honey08 but I wonder if any of those picked for the Olympics will not go.

Oh I'm in a bit of a dilemma now

It might be possible that the US team would be picked based on the form that they show at Rolex ( it is there main maybe only 4*) so all their best combinations may be there as there is a good break between it and the Olympics. I dont know about competitors from other countries would they want to fly them over if they didnt have to?
