Wanting advice ...
My horse is always thirsty on hacks, used to be infrequently now more often than not.
We don't hack out for long 40mins-1hour usually. Only in walk, very occasional trot.
It's not from the begining, happens about 20minutes in. He starts searching for water - streams / puddles / any water really. Has a drink, then quite happy to carry on for the rest of the ride.
He drinks plenty of water overnight, has a bucket and stream in his field - that he definitely drinks from (hard to tell how much due to it being a stream and the bucket being constantly topped up by rain.)
Does anyone elses horse do this?
