Id consider it if my horse had a previous tendon injury for short periods but would rather turnout in breathable boots.

I would rather turn out with no boots on at all,only time we do it is if there is a new arrival to their field and they likely to go nuts!Why would you want to turn out in bandages?

I'd never turnout in bandages on the off chance that one comes undone and pony starts being chased by an 8 foot red/blue/etc snake!

I'd be wary as mine is very spooky and if one come undone she'd go berserk!
I'm putting her out in turnout boots this year for mud fever but am nervous about that too, will do it when I'm there all day and can keep an eye on her. She panicked when I put the back ones on last time so gonna do it in the school at first and lead her around so she gets used to movement and if she does panic she can't really hurt herself and will hopefully calm down!

No no please don't do it...if they work loose could be a accident waiting to happen...I'd go down the boot's road if you have to turnout with anything...
