Hi Storm123, Peter is so knowledgeable & kind & helpful. My horse went lame 6mnth ago & vets kept saying it was his OF plus as he had lost a shoe on that hoof it did seem to make sense though I wasnt convinced that this what it. He also had muscle wastage on his NH quarters. After a month of seeming to go round in circles with vet who just wanted to use up all my insurance money & then said to claim for LOU when it ran out!???
A friend told me about PG & I sent him a vid a he was happy to look at it. He said he would like to see Bud in person. As he thought that his lameness came from his NH leg!?
When he actually saw him, PG was certain that them lameness was in fact the NH & the muscle wastage on the OH was actual normal muscle mass but the NH muscles were in spasm. He did alot of work on him with his machine & also had a dental specialist & another specialist who is soo sought after but only makes it to PG twice a year!! PG emailed me every day with a report on how Bud was doing. He is so attentive to the work he does & all he cares about is getting horses healthy again. I am sure if he could afford he would not charge a bean. Also he recommends other people to do the work if he can if they are nearer to you but I prefered to go to the top man so to speak. He even said that if you can get hold of one of the machines that he uses you can do it yourself but you really struggle to find them over hear. NZ & Aus seem to be able to get them ut not us.
Bud is doing really well now & nearly back to full fitness.
I do hope he can help you. Pls let me/us know how you get on with him. Fingers crossed for you that he can help you like he did me & Bud.

Thanks K9h, this is really helpful : we have an ex-racehorse who has been very slightly lame for about 3 months now (much more evident under saddle) trotting up short on OH - and our usual vet was really no use at all apart from eventually suggesting that we could take him to Liphook for an MRi scan which would cost £2,000+ and still might not show anything! We have had a homeopathic vet treating him in the last couple of weeks, and he immediately said it was more likely to be his back which was the cause of the problem, has been giving him laser treatment, and he is already significantly better. The Peter Gray site helps to explain why! If we get desperate, I'll certainly get in touch with him as well.

Rufusbluemoon glad his website helped to explain it as I am useless at explaining (as you will of seen!!) I think prob what also makes him have more amazing results is that he is often the "last resort" like Homoeopathy if it works then its amazing & if it doesnt then its aload of manure where as if you prob went to either in the first place then it would of worked?? (If that makes sense?)
I just thought I would post it as he has helped me & thought that there might be others out there wondering what they could do & its just another avenue to have a look at. Theres no harm in looking & for a bonus he doesnt cost the earth!
Also if you look on his News page its interesting what he says about insurance companies!
Good look with your lad hope he comes right.
Also forgot to say that Bud had been to Liverpool as well to try & sort him out.

have just read your letter and i am at my wits end. my horses front feet have not been to good, but the last two years he has had a bad back i have had i think nearly all the back people to look at him and each one have different views on it, the vet has now told me that its his feet that are the trouble, the pain in them makes his back go into spasam, i have had gel pads put in but only 6 days later they ate coming away from his feet, so that has not worked, please could you let me know how i cam get in touch with this man. i have had 10 saddles, not one has fitted, on the 11th but again due to the wastage in his chest and build up shoulder they do not fit, maybe this man came help him.

Got to add to this ...Peter has done 6 horses for me , one of which was an insurance LOU ,who subsequently past a vetting and found a nice home instead of being shot ! Another was a 25yr Tb who grazed lying down due to the pain he was in ( he was given me) He now wins most show classes he enters ( at the age of 30) NOTE his lameness had been investigated by our local "expert vetinary hospital" for 2 years and they had taken nearly £3000 off the insurance and come up with a load of "bull" . It took 8 weeks to fix , then nerves of steel to re-mount !!!!
