Is most likely the fattest horse I have ever seen!

That or he is strangley built/muscled due to his unusual breed, but I reckon that it's just fat.

He looks like a really nice horse under the weight though

Pretty much just the shape of that breed or maybe it's because I only know of showing stock which, if it's anything like regular UK showing, is almost required to be plump

As it is from France and the breed as well, that horse is likely to be bred for meat. Like beef cows they have loads of muscle/ are generally huge.

It's the breed to a degree - continental heavy horse bred for pulling some serious weight.

And it's not the fattest I have seen, most of it is in the neck and looks more of a late cut gelding with a stallion crest.

I think they are used more for meat now

We have had him for nearly 2 years but haven't done anything with him.

Has pulled wedding carriages in past.

ive seen bigger before in this breed! they look like an arm-chair ride

it doesnt look very 17.3ish???? otherwise that man behind it must be very tall!!!!.....may be the measured the highest point of the crest
