At grooming parlours near me they sometimes dye dogs with food colourant and veg dye I think for valentines day at owners request and some groomers do it for grooming competitions I think, not sure whats that is died with.
Probably do doggy dyes or summit now.

someone put a picture up of dyed chicks on here too recently - apparently they inject the egg with food dye - how awful :(

Nope, us groomers are a nutty bunch and when we get bored we pull out the coloring kits

it doesn't harm them and contrary to what some folk say/think, some dogs even LIKE this attention....particularly poodles.

It's not my bag but I certainly appreciate the creativity and talent that goes in to these creations.

Personally, I was more offended by the advert itself....
