I just seem to find the kindest people on here .Last week I asked if anyone had tried some bossy bib material under a numnah to stop winter rub ,result Hankini sent me a bib that had ripped .Today I ask about tiny riding jackets and Ottinmeg is sending me one.
Is it just me or have others found HHO'ers the kindest people in the world.
I am amazed by people's generosity ,real life isn't like life on here,or is it ?
I must admit ,I looked after a horse for 15 years in return for my stable and when the horse died ,the gentleman sold me the field for what he paid for it 20 years before, as a thank you.
I am amazed by the kindness of some people

I think, in the horsy business, you find two types. The kindest, most generous people you are ever likely to meet or the biggest rogues to walk the earth!!

I've not been a member here for long but have found people to be lovely on here

The horsey people I have met online have been among the kindest, most generous and most caring people that I have ever known.
The people I know who own yards, who employ etc are among the most heartless and hurtful people I have ever met.

I don't know why that is.

Something to do with level ground on a forum perhaps?

I agree people on here seem so kind, after all they don't know you, yet I have had people help me out with problems and tough times. Also all the HHOers I have met have been delightful and really nice.

The people I have met off here have been some of the loveliest, kindest and most genuine people I have met. You'll know who I mean i'm sure.
Couldn't really wish for a nicer bunch of friends.

Looking forward to meeting more on Thursday too

Definitely! I have had so much support over my mum. It has been brilliant. It has really helped me to cope with the situation. Just a few kind words has made a lot of difference.

I would agree. There's no way I'd have pulled thru losing Cat & getting made redundant in the same week without the support from everyone on here. Three cheers for HHO'ers!!

I agree, there are some very loyal and supportive people I have met both online and in RL. Forget yin and yang Cathy, you attract like minded people and you are one of the most caring people I know. You have already been through the cr@p and now it's your turn for some positive stuff

Ive always received the best kindest advise on here, my hubby is sick of me talking about you lot lol. Ive got some amazing horsey friends who helped me out with tack etc when i first got my lot. They have been bending over backwards to help me with a current situation.

Then there are those that are the biggest b******s that ever roamed the earth, those that think they know everything, tell people how their own horse should be kept etc.

Ive posted some questions on here that may seem common sense to others, but had me stumped. Not one person laughed at me, ive always been well looked after here

I was just thinking this the other day!!

I was lungeing Frankie, and he started turning in and backing up as he has gotten into the habit of that now and I just thought of all the advice that was given on here and I sorted him out!

Sometimes I get doubts about my ability but I can have a moan on here and I have to say that asking for advice on here really does help - part from the fact that I get replies for my questions pretty much the same day!!

As I said I do doubt my abilities some days, but I can be confident that if I do have any questions or need any support I can find it on here!

Ahh shucks guys you are the bees knees!

QR-

coming back into horses and riding as an adult was a very daunting experience for me as there is very little in the way of (equestrian) support where I live. this forum has been invaluable in terms of really helpful advice, tips and support.

As Boodle has said, the online community seems far more supportive and constructive than the horse community can be around you.
There's a quote that sums it up quite well
