this is annoying me now

im fed up of "things" happening on my land. I have my ideas of who is doing it but cant prove it yet till i get the CCTV installed.

theres been a few major things and the police have been involved but then its really all kicked off from the end of august when i reported my neighbour for theft.

so now its little things - some we can prove others we cant. Little things like my leisure battery handle being smashed off (this is situated away from a public footpath so no one should be near it), opening a gate and letting my horses out of their field - luckily this is a gate into another field but i had an unmuzzled laminitic pony that was let into 6 acres of lush grass. barbed wire and staples being thrown into my field. Then this morning someone has sabotaged my energiser - they have cut and removed the wires that go from the battery to the energiser. these are the things i cant prove, the ones i can are things like fencing being cut and removed, post and rail smashed - need i go on grrr

Ive got swine flu and this is the last thing i need on top of feeling like [****].

Hopefully the police will be able to stop the people from doing it soon,

the police have just been round. unfortunately without proof theres not much they can do but they have assured me that they will up the patrols around my land and will pull up and have a "walk around" just to let people know that the police are around.
theyve given me some great advice about what to do in the future so fingers crossed ill eventually get this sorted out.

Oh God, that does sound bad! Why are your neighbours or whoever doing this?

When you do put CCTV up try and be subtle so they will carry on as normal (so you can catch them as well as it stopping if you know what I mean)

How about setting up a webcam - might be a bit cheaper & easier and you could set it up today - why wait for CCTV??

thats just awful why do anything directed at the horses like letting them out of field..esp with a laminitic...who i hope is OK, do they know this pony is lami? all what they are doing seems so pathetic...and is just making your life a but unhappy which is so understandable...sit up there hide with a camcorder/phone to catch them out til CCTV...not ideal but at least you have a chance of stopping it quicker.

Honestly some people are just so nasty!!

You could use a Stealth camera to catch the culprit:

We don't have electricity at the yard I rent for my horses so we are saving up to buy one of the Infrared stealth cameras to keep on eye on things.

thank you everyone who has commented, ive just got in and seen your replies.

with regards to why they are doing this - its cos they can - they believe they are not covered by the law and what they do is gospel, what they do is right and they honestly believe they can get away with doing anything they like - WRONG, not if i can help. these people are sick in their head.

not thought about webcam - ill definitely have a look. my dad is meeting with his electrican friend who in tuirn is going to come and meet me to discuss exactly what i need so ill mention the webcam/cctv to him.
not even thought about stealth camera - will def have to look into that so thank you.
