Non 'Doggy' I'm afraid! Had that dreaded flu with that even more dreaded cough (coughing for ten days), all my sides were really painful but then last night I coughed so hard something went ping, crying with agony!! Poor OH had to lift me out of bed and dress me to go to A and E and I've cracked a rib. Doggies don't understand cracked ribs and washing the kennels out at 6.30 in the dark and in pain was not fun!! Also ride out pointers in the afternoon which I can't now do..grrr.

On a happier note, Brier has had her stitches out and is all healed up, the three fatties (seriously fat pups) have opened their eyes and trying to stand and half walking/half crawling around and the rehome puppy 'Kaiya' is much happier in herself, even making friends with Nero, not even looking at stones/plastic e.t.c and is eating well, we're sure she has put on some weight!! Her sister weighs 30.4KG (she is a bit bigger boned) and Kaiya weighed 12.6kg on Monday, haven't weighed her since though.

Sorry for rabbitting on but I seem to have too much time on my hands now, which makes a change!

Ouch! Now how ribs feel! Hope your on the mend soon. Yes animals sadly do not understand sick notes!!

Good news on Kaiya food wise! Just a slow steady road.

I did that last year, they thought I had cracked a rib but it turns out I tore one of the intercostal muscles - the doctor said the pain is equivalent alledgedly, but it felt like someone had stabbed me

So pleased Kaiya is doing well, but cant believe that they let her get to approx 1/3 of her sisters weight

Thank god you got her back
